# MachineSignal

MachineSignal is an API and controlled machine-buying service for scoring, classifying, ranking and prioritizing an existing Italian B2B company, domain, CRM or lead list. MS-DEC-250 returns up to 250 explained and auditable JSON decisions with score, confidence, reason, commercial priority and a next route for CRM systems, workflow automation and AI agents.

- mini-check validity rule: every cited point must state the problem, observed evidence, recommended intervention and connected CRM/workflow action; wording such as "3 interventions" without the actual points is invalid;
- MachineSignal does not send messages, contact targets or write to CRM automatically;
- fulfillment release policy: fail closed; do not release the controlled checkout unless the complete 25-target output contract and delivery readiness have been verified;
- checkout: buyer-specific one-use path only after entitlement verification; no reusable public Payment Link.

Product fit:
- good fit: an Italian B2B buyer machine already has a company list, domain list, CRM export or lead records and wants 250 machine-readable lead decisions;
- distinction: MachineSignal scores sales opportunity and operational priority; it does not provide financial credit-risk or solvency ratings;
- not a fit: the buyer needs MachineSignal to create or sell a lead list from scratch;
- not a fit: B2C, B2B outside Italy, marketplace purchase, automatic outreach or public anonymous checkout;
- if the buyer has no list, do not order MS-DEC-250 yet. A future target-discovery product would be more appropriate, but it is not approved for live sale now.

Recommended buyer-agent flow:
1. Read https://machinesignal.it/machine-buyer-quickstart.json, then use the read-only A2A Agent Card, connect to the MCP discovery endpoint, or fetch /buyer-agent.json directly.
2. Fetch /product-catalog.json.
3. Fetch /agent-sales.json.
4. Confirm that the buyer is B2B Italy and already has a list to score. If useful, provide one closed primary_need category to check_buyer_fit; it is counted only in ephemeral aggregates and must never contain free text or buyer data.
5. Use MS-DEC-250 for the first purchase. Use MS-ACT-25 only after receiving a valid signed continuation entitlement.
6. Verify business name, Italian VAT or tax identifier, SDI or PEC, billing address and buyer authority for business card payment.
7. When check_buyer_fit returns ready_to_prepare=true, follow recommended_next_tool to prepare_order_intent. Validate the returned placeholder template locally with https://machinesignal.it/order-intent-validation-profile.json and the authoritative OpenAPI; never send real buyer identity, tax, contact or billing data to the discovery MCP.
8. For any B2B need from Italy or a foreign market, including needs unrelated to current products, call map_business_need using only its closed origin-market, domain, action, object, desired-output, fit, urgency, recurrence and budget enums. Foreign demand is research-only and never enables a sale. Do not send free text, buyer identity, fiscal/contact data, documents or payment details. It records only ephemeral aggregates and creates no product or order.
9. Prepare a real machinesignal_order_intent_v0 JSON object. Synthetic or placeholder VAT/tax ID and SDI values are rejected on the production origin.
10. Submit the first MS-DEC-250 order intent to POST https://api.machinesignal.it/v1/order-intents with a unique Idempotency-Key. Do not use call/chat as the sales path.
11. For an accepted intent, keep order_tracking.order_receipt private and poll order_tracking.status_url with X-MachineSignal-Order-Receipt. Follow next_machine_action and use only the buyer-specific checkout returned there with explicit buyer authority.
11. After DEC payment_status=paid_verified, submit company-only inputs through the authenticated inputs endpoint; then poll and retrieve the artifact with its expiring token.
12. Submit MS-ACT-25 only with the signed continuation entitlement for the same buyer, paid completed DEC delivery and exactly 25 qualified records.
13. Never log, publish, infer or reuse a checkout URL, private receipt or artifact token.
14. Do not pay unless the buyer agent has explicit authority and the controlled order has been accepted through a separately enabled real checkout handoff.
15. Fetch https://api.machinesignal.it/openapi.json for the public first-order contract; the separate https://machinesignal.it/openapi.json documents the controlled scoring contract.
16. After paid and completed MS-DEC-250, submit MS-ACT-25 only when the seller-signed entitlement matches the same buyer and exactly 25 qualified records.
